Under UK XL Bully rules (England & Wales from February 2024, Scotland from August 2024), exempted XL Bully dogs can only be exercised off-lead and unmuzzled in a genuinely private, securely enclosed space with no public right of way passing through. For reactive, nervous or lead-frustrated dogs, the hardest part of a walk is passing another dog in the car park. A private-hire enclosed dog field (or secure dog paddock) is a fenced area of land — usually 1 to 5 acres — that you book online for your sole use for 30 or 60 minutes. Nobody else enters during your slot, making it ideal for reactive dogs, rescue dogs, puppies learning recall, sighthounds and exempted XL Bully dogs.
